In the 2015-16 season, the Gold Rush men’s basketball team went 21-13 overall, and 6-6 in the Gulf Cost Atlantic Conference. They qualified for a trip to the NAIA tournament in Kansas City, Mo., and lost in the first round by one point in overtime. At the end of the season, head coach Dannton Jackson announced he was leaving to take an assistant coach’s job in Alabama. These are some highlights from both practice and the GCAC tournament.
