Debuting at number one on the Billboard 200 chart with first-week sales of 173,000 copies, “Dark Sky Paradise” marks Big Sean’s best sales week to compliment his best body of work.

The album was released on Feb. 24 and features the well-known single “IDFWU” featuring E-40. The hit single is received a platinum certification through RIAA and created the new viral social media term “IDFWU”.

“Dark Sky Paradise” is without a doubt Sean’s best body of work in my opinion. the album features  standout songs such as “All Your Fault” featuring Kanye West and “Dark Sky (Skyscrapers)”, Big Sean sports his best verses on this album and uses his talents of rapping to help convey life lessons for his listeners. The album truly shines with the deluxe edition, featuring bonus tracks “Research” with girlfriend Ariana Grande, and “Deserve It” with artist PARTYNEXTDOOR.

Overall, I am thoroughly impressed with the album and would recommend fans of Big Sean and hip-hop in general to give the album a listen. This reviewer gives the album 4.5 out of 5 stars.
